BETALBATIM: Sao Jose de Areal thrashed Curtorim Gymkhana 4-1 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the Joao Francisco Pacheco memorial football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sports Club, at Betalbatim Sports Complex, on Monday.
In both the sessions, Sao Jose de Areal and Curtorim Gymkhana played an attacking football but could not net in.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Sao Jose de Areal converted through Slyster Cardozo, Aggie Antao, Aliston Camatio and David Colaco while Curtorim Gymkhana were on target with the lone effort of Jovito Dias.
Sao Jose de Areal will meet Guardian Angel Sports Club in the final on August 28.
