Sodiem enter last four nerul cup

CALANGUTE, MAY 21
Sodiem Siolim Sports Club trounced Anjuna Gymkhana 3-0 to enter the semi-finals of 17th Nerul Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Nerul Sports Club at Nerul ground on Friday.
Sodiem forged ahead in the 30th minute through Mukund Shirodker off a Presticio Fernandes corner.  In the 40th minute, Sodiem’s Dylan Noronha found the net off a Rakesh Vaigankar corner.
Down by two goals, Anjuna attacked the Sodiem citadel but a good try by Saprem Diukar hit the crossbar and went out of play.  Raghu Shirodker rounded off the tally for Sodiem off a Rakesh cross.
