PANJIM: Sporting Club de Goa beat SCC Cavelossim 5-2 in the U-20 TACA league game organised by Goa Football Association, played at Navelim ground, on Monday.
Chandan Gawas scored a brace for the winners as Trijoy Dias, Alston Camotio and Mayuresh Naik netted in one each. Kevin Almeida and Mizio Peixito scored for the Cavelossim side.
Meanwhile in the U-16 league Salgaocar Football Club scored a five star performance against Salcete Football Club at Artificial Turf, Fatorda, on Monday.
Kenneth Da Costa scored a brace for the Green Brigade while Jobern Cardozo, Meldon Oliveira and Rohan Viegas scored one each for the winners.
In another game supposed to be held at Ambelim ground, Ambelim SC failed to report at the venue to play against Churchill Brothers SC.
