MAPUSA: Shree Shantadurga Vidyalaya Pirna got the better of L.D Samant Memorial High School by a 2-0 win in the Boys Bardez Taluka Boys U-17 Tennikoit tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs played at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, on Saturday.
Keerti Vidyalaya Siolim bagged the third place.
In the girls section Shree Shantadurga Vidyalaya Pirna defeated St Francis Xavier High School, Mapusa by 2-1 games.
Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Porvorim secured the third place.
Shree Shantadurga Vidyalaya, Pirna has now qualified both in the girls and boys section to play at the district level.
