PARODA: St Anthony SC, Assolda, blanked CDJ Ribandar 3-0 to book their place in the final of the Fr Agnelo soccer football tournament, organised by Fr Agnelo YSC of Paroda, at Avedem Paroda ground, on Sunday.
Praveen Bandodkar of Ribandar took a long range shot in the 10th minute but failed to pop up into the Assolda net.
Vitorino Fernandes of Assolda was the star of the match with his hat-trick when Praveen Bandodkar gave his best to his team, Ribandar.
Vitorino Fernandes fired from close range to open the account for Assolda in the 31st minute. Assolda further inflated the lead by scoring two more goals through Vitorino Fernandes in the 40th and 56th minutes.
