DRAMAPUR: St Anthony SC, Assolda blanked Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao 2-0 to advance into the semi-finals of the Dramapur Summer Cup 2016 organized by Dramapur SC in memory of late five children died due to tragedy, at Dramapur ground, on Thursday.
St Anthony SC scored a goal each in both the sessions. A corner kick taken by Soccoro Fernandes in the 7th minute saw Althon Vaz, who was prowling in the Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao box, snatching the ball with his left footer and releasing a venomous strike which crushed into the rival nets.
St Anthony SC doubled the lead by scoring 2-0 through Benson Fernandes’ placement shot in the 55th minute after receiving a pass from Soccoro.
