VARCA: St Anthony Sports Club, Colva edged out United Sports Club Seraulim 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the Varca Panchayat Cup, organised by Varca Sports Club, at Varca SC ground, on Saturday.
In the tie-breaker, St Anthony SC, Colva scored through Nelson Gomes, Mackson Fernandes, Remedies Fernandes and Ronnie Fernandes while Oliver D’Souza , Ashley Fernandes and Sherwyn Costa converted for United SC Seraulim.
St.Anthony SC,Colva will now meet CAC Sports Club November 9 in the second semi -final.
