ILLEANT-BENAULIM: St Sebastian Union Club, Benaulim shot-out UB 40, Colva 4-3 via the tie-breaker to lift the 12th Serino Cardozo Memorial trophy organised by Friends of Illeant Benaulim, at Illeant-Benaulim ground, on Saturday.
Seldon opened the account for Benaulim in the 14th minute with a placement shot.
Ten minutes later, Nelson equalised for Colva.
In the resultant tie-breaker, St Sebastian UC netted through Seldon, Joel and Roger while for Maxon and Nelson scored for UB 40.
The winners were awarded Rs 20,000 while the runners-up received Rs 15,000 plus trophies.
Mickky Pacheco, Ex-Minister for Tourism was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of David Fernandes, panch of Benaulim, Raul Cardozo, Trevor Fernandes other dignitaries and club officials.
