BENAULIM: St Sebastian Union Club, Benaulim edged past Pedda Boys, Benaulim 2-1 to move into the semi-finals of the 12th Serino Cardozo Memorial football tournament organised by Friends of Illeant Benaulim, at Illeant Benaulim ground, on Monday.
Clide opened the account for Pedda in the 12th minute with a snap shot. Twenty minutes later, St.Sebastian scored through Joel’ assist with a placement shot to level terms. Six minutes later, Joel scored his brace and match winner for St Sebastian.
St Sebastian will now meet the winner of Real Benaulim and United Club Benaulim on August 4 in the semi-final.
