PANJIM: St Thomas St Cruz defeated Siridao Boys to clinch the 9th UK-Goan Volleyball Rolling Cup organised by Star Boys of Swindon at New College indoor court, UK, recently.
Presley, Franco and Augusto played well for St Cruz while Lenny, Gabriel and Philip fought hard for Siridao. In the semi final St Thomas defeated Navelim Six 25-21,25-19 while Siridao defeated defending champion 1st 2nd Bario St Cruz 25-22 28-26.
The winners were awarded Rs 50,000 while the runners-up had to be content with Rs 30,000.
