MARGAO: St Xavier High School, Velim and King’s High School, Sao Jose De Areal moved into the second round of the under-14 girl’s inter-school Salcete Taluka football tournament organized by DSYA, at Manora ground, Raia, on Wednesday.
St Xavier High School, Velim got the better of Holy Cross Institute, Cavelossim 1-0. The all-important goal was netted by Leesha Fernandes.
King HS beat Rosary High School Navelim by an identical margin with Diksha Shetty being the goal scorer.
