The match started on a promising note with Assolda making dangerous moves upfront through strikers Mithun and Arthur.

In the second half Assolda took the lead in the 38th minute through Mithun Carvalho’s grounder but their joy was short-lived as Sun Moon striker Theophileo equalized.
