CURCHOREM: “Patrakar Chashak 2014”, an 6th All-Goa White Season Ball, Colour Dress 20-20 cricket tournament organized by Sanvordem Gymkhana Sports Cultural Association (SGSCA) and Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) in collaboration with Sanguem-Quepem Patrakar Sangh, Curchorem was inaugurated by Sanguem Constituency MLA Subhash Phal Dessai, at SAG ground, Curchorem, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Treasurer of GC?A Vilas Dessai informed about the mini cricket stadium which is coming up at Sanguem with all the cricketing facilities with an estimated cost of Rs 9 crore. He also informed that GCA has planned many such stadia in every taluka.
GCA Vice-President Manohar Naik, SAG coach Abhinay Sanvordekar were also present among other dignitaries. According to SGSCA President Prahar Sanvordekar, 32 teams will be playing in the tournament, which will end on April 6.
