CURTORIM: Curtorim Gymkhana fought brilliantly to beat Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 3-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the South Goa Yarri Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim School ground, at Cuncolim, on Friday.
Prestan Araujo opened the scoring for Don Bosco in the 45th minute of the match.
Later, Cliff Barreto doubled the lead to make it 2-0 for Don Bosco.
Down by two goals, Curtorim Gymkhana regrouped quickly and scored three goals in the span of just four minutes.
Milagres Fernandes scored a brace in the 65th & 66th minutes while Welson Fernandes scored the match-winner in the 68th minute.
