VASCO: The Navy Children School, Goa emerged champions for the second consecutive year at the CBSE Cluster IX football tournament which was held at Army Public School at Dighi, Pune, recently.
Out of 115 CBSE schools in Maharashtra and Goa, 32 teams participated in the U-19 Boys category tournament. The 16-member team was coached by D Dhanraj, PGT-PE of NCS Goa. Dwayne Neto received the Best Player award.
The NCS team will be participating in the CBSE National Football Championship, scheduled at Haryana from November 8 -13.
