The students of Popular English High School, Goa Velha, who excelled at the national level in their respective fields. Rakesh Bogiyar won two gold medals in sparring and participated in taekwondo while Dhanisha Velingkar bagged the third place in karate. Sharlet Dias participated in kabaddi, Maruti Keni and Nagina Kadkol in athletics while Akshay Shirodkar and Dadapir Mestri participated in taekwondo. They are being trained by Dilesh Gadekar, PE teacher. The students alongwith C R Hukkeri, headmaster.
