PANJIM: Dempo Higher Secondary School of Commerce, Mira Mar defeated Vidya Prabodhini HSS by nine wickets in the zonal Inter-HSS Cricket tournament, at Campal ground, on Thursday.
Earlier, Dempo HSS defeated TB Cunha HSS by six wickets in the semi-finals. Udheyesh Palekar scored a scintillating unbeaten 54 runs with Vaibhav Govekar scoring 30 not out to guide Dempo HSS to victory for the third consecutive year. The team was coached by Chetan Kavlekar.
