PANJIM: The Rifle Shooting Association, Goa’s, Yash Yogeshwar Padloskar created a new national record in rifle shooting games by winning the gold medal in Prone Position, Three Position in ISSF match 300mtr rifle event in Junior category as per the norms of International Shooting Sports Federation.
He also secured a medal in the civilian championship and 300mt Rifle Three Position in Junior Men (ISSF) event in big bore.
Secretary General of RSAG and international shooting coach, Adv Vikram Bhangle congratulated Yash for his performance and is confident to select him for India.
He is the first shooter to get medals in one season in the ISSF events
His father Yogeshwar Padloskar and mother Bhagyeshri Padloskar are also national medallist in shooting.
As of now, Yash has secured 12 gold, seven silver and two bronze medals to his tally. He bagged six consecutive medals in National School Games.
