PANJIM: Tivaivaddo registered a solitary goal victory over Umtavaddo to enter the semi-finals of Calangute Veterans inter-ward Alexio Joao Menezes memorial football tournament organized by Anthony Menezes’ family at Calangute Association ground, Calangute, Monday.
Baptist scored the all-important goal in the second session through a spot-kick after a rival defender handled the ball inside the danger zone.
Tivaivaddo will take on the winners of Cobravaddo and Porbavaddo in the semi-finals slated on July 4.
