The management of Sesa FA has now decided to charge their trainees for the facilities from January 2016, which were free from its inception since June, 1999.
The management recently briefed the parents of the trainees on the current scenario of the companies position and has decided to charge each trainee Rs 5,000 from January, 2016 till April. Each trainee will further have to pay Rs 7,500 from June.
They have also decided to go ahead for the admission this year and restart the Sirsaim Academy if good times come back.
Sesa FA has also plans to begin their All-India junior academy from next year on chargeable basis in addition to the academy at Sankhali.
If some parents are not in position to pay the amount, Sesa FA will give a letter in writing stating that the particular boy is a bonafide trainee of the academy and that letter can be given to their respective MLA’s or any sponsor.
Over the years, the academy has produced several local talent such as Adil Khan, Gabriel Fernandes, Godwin Franco, Godwin Franco, Pratesh Shirodkar and others.
