Turquoise FA, Blue Bodily Integrity, Silver SD win

MAPUSA: Turquoise Female Autonomy, Blue Bodily Integrity and Silver Self Determination emerged victorious in the second day of the Discover Football Women’s tournament, played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday.

MAPUSA: Turquoise Female Autonomy, Blue Bodily Integrity and Silver Self Determination emerged victorious in the second day of the Discover Football Women’s tournament, played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Wednesday. 
In the first match, Turquoise FA scored a narrow 1-0 win over Ebony Equal Opportunity. 
After a goalless first half, Karishma Shirvoikar scored the only goal of the match in the dying minutes of the second session. 
 It was delightful to see local girl Vailanka D’Souza display some fine antics and play an important role in Turquoise`s win. 
In the second match, Blue Bodily Integrity scripted an easy 6-1 win over Crimson Mutual Consent. 
Blues opened their tally through Yashika Deshmukh in very first minutes. 
Harpreet Kaur found Yashika with a perfect through ball in the box, who made no mistake from the close range to make it 1-0 for her side. 
A minute later, Yashika had another chance to double their lead but this time Crimson’s keeper Afifa Ahmed blocked her in a one-on-one situation. However a few minutes later, Tenzin Yangchen made it 2-0 for Blue BI. 
Yashika was in the action again when she dribbled past two defenders and calmly finished in the goal making it 3-0 for her side.
At the other end, Isha Washmikar reduced the margin for the Crimsons with a superb finish off Navita Kooteri’s short pass in the box. Yashika scored three more goals in the second session making the margin 6-1 for the Blues, while she also completed her hat-trick. 
In the third match Silver Self-Determination edged out Golden Grow Visibility 2-1.
Anline Fernandes scored the opener for the Silvers, while Sankita equalised in the dying minutes of the first-half. 
Finally, in the last few minutes, Anline showed her brilliant footwork to score the winner for the Silvers, 2-1.
