UC Nerul humble Saligao Utd, Peddem Bomm win

MAPUSA: United Club Nerul scored a huge 4-1 margin win over Saligao United SC in the GFA’s 3rd Division League match at Candolim ground, on Sunday.

Nerul went into the breather with a three-goal cushion coming from the boots of Narayan Chopdekar (2) and Yeshwant More (1).
Crossing over, Anand Chopdekar pumped in one more for the winners while Edwin Fernandes managed to pull one for Saligao.
At Chapora ground, Peddem Bomm scored a narrow 2-1 win over Chapora Yuvak Sangh.
Sagar Kambli and Vinod Naik got the goals for Peddem Bomm while Charles Fernandes reduced the margin for Chapora.
Goan Warriors Football Club humbled Football Club of Tuem by a resounding 9-1 win, at Duler Stadium, here, on Friday. The winners led by a 3-0 margin at the lemon break. After several missed opportunities GWFC surged into the lead in the 14th minute when Mahableshwar Harijan on collecting the ball from Aquip Mirza fired the ball into the nets, 1-0.
As the match progressed, Aquip Mirza made it 2-0 when his power-packed strike from the edge of the box had no answer from Tuem keeper.
Minutes before the halftime whistle, Mahableshwar made it 3-0 for GWFC. 
On resumption of play, GWFC continued from where they had left and fired in six more goals through Mahableshwar (1), Tukaram Parab (3), Aquip Mirza (1) and Mufaiaz Shaikh (1).
Vignesh Palni managed to reduce the margin for Tuem by scoring a consolation goal.
At Chapora ground, ABC Arambol squeezed past Dunes SC by a narrow 2-1 win. Omkar Satekar and Satch Britto were the goal scorers for Arambol while Shashank Ashvekar reduced the margin for Dunes.
At Candolim ground, Holiday Club Arpora thrashed Adarsh Yuvak Sangh by a huge 8-0 margin. Arpora went into the breather with a 1-0 lead coming from the boots of Francis Fernandes in the 40th minute of play.
Crossing over, Arpora went all out to collect three points and fired in seven more goals at regular intervals.
At Nachinola ground, St. Sebastian SC held Sirsaim SC to a goalless draw.
