The match ended in a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time. Chandor took the lead through Jeston Martins when he lobbed the ball over the onrushing UC Nerul goalkeeper. UC Nerul were taken aback by this early goal and started losing the ball easily to Chandor.At half-time, the score read 1-0 in favour of Chandor. Post resumption, UC Nerul was rewarded when Joelif Fernandes scored with a perfect volley to make the score even at 1-1.
In the tie-breaker, for UC Nerul Stanly D’Silva, Royston Pereira, Suraj Kaunthankar and Bapu Pendnekar converted while Moses Dias, Ivon Pinto and Kevin Vaz were on target for Chandor.
