United Lamgao emerge champs

United Sports Club, Lamgao beat Wadeshwar Sports Club 3-1 in the tie-breaker in the finals of the football tournament organised by Vadeshwar Cultural Association at Karatichi Mali ground, Bordem, Bicholim.
United won Rs 3000 and Wadeshwar had to be content with Rs 2000.
Prizes were distributed at the hands of chief guest, Naresh Kadkade, Vishant Vaze, Vitthal Karmalkar, Narayan Bekikar, Anand Navgekar. Prizes were sponsored by Rajesh Patnekar, MLA and Narayan Betkikar.
