MARGAO: United Club of Utorda edge past Navelim Sporting Club 1-0 to march into the semi final of the All Goa Bro Eulalio Vas Memorial Inter- village football tournament organized by Don Bosco Oratory , Fatorda at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda Friday . There was no score at half time.
Both the teams went on the offensive, as a result there were few thrills at either end. However the teams defenders stood tall in protecting their citadel.
After the break, both the teams went all out and both the teams goal survived close calls . The important goal came in the 40thminute when Wellington Fernandes bulged the net .
United Club of Utorda will now meet Don Bosco Oratory in the semi-final on November 24.
