RAIA: Varca Veterans triumphed over Seraulim Veterans with a narrow 1-0 victory in the final of CLCAC Committee tournament organised under the patronage of Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas, at Vaddie ground, Benaulim, recently.
The match kicked off with both teams eager to score early, showcasing a fast-paced and dynamic game. Romeo and Tennyson of Varca Veterans displayed excellent teamwork, but the first half ended goalless.

After the break, Seraulim Veterans intensified their efforts, with Steven and Jess Cardozo consistently testing Varca Veterans goalkeeper Romeo Pereira. Just as the game seemed destined for a tie-breaker, Narcisco clinched the victory for Varca Veterans with a decisive goal from a corner-kick taken by Tennyson, to culminate in a well-deserved victory for Varca Veterans.
Chief guest Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas presented the winners with the rolling trophy alongside other dignitaries.
