Velsao Pale trounced CRSC, Navelim by a tennis score of 8 -0 to storm into the finals and set up a clash with Salgaocar Sports Club on May 10 in 9th V M Salgaocar Memorial Under-16 soccer tournament organised by Prime Sports Club at Dr T B Da Cunha Sports Complex, Cansaulim on Friday.
The strongly built Velsao Pale boys opened the floodgates by scoring at will and led 5-0 at half time with Hayston, Agnel Fernandes, Xavier, Eslee Dias and Savio Colaco scoringFor CRSC, Movin Pereira and Sheldon Navanjavy fought gallantly but lacked support from the other young Navelim players.
In the second half, Velsao Pale completed the formalities by scoring through Quan Gomes, Arvin Pereira and Eslee Dias.
In the veterans finals, Bardez Veterans will clash with Salgaocar Sports Club Veterans on May 10 at 5 p.m.
