PER-SERAULIM: Verna Veterans blanked Benaulim Veterans 5-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Flame of Unity Veterans, at Mabai Per-Seraulim ground, on Tuesday.

Three minutes later, Verna’s Santan Furtado took control of the ball from Seby Vaz who dribbled past Benaulim’s Pele Fernandes and Charles Rodrigues and shot from the top of the box but the ball sailed over the Benaulim cross bar.

Ten minutes later, Andrew Teodisio doubled the lead for Verna.
Verna further inflated the lead through Rosario Carvalho in the 58th minute.
