Cavelossim are having a dream run this season and find themselves in the third position of the standing with 15 points from nine matches. 
At the other hand, Goa Velha secured their fourth point top come in par with ninth placed Calangute Association and it will be a tough fight when the Relegation League commences after November 10. 
Goa Velha started the match on the front foot and created some dangerous moves but rival keeper Ram Sroop stood up at the challenge, denying efforts by Revalino Da Souza and Welington Fernandes.
At the other end, Cavelossim striker Estevan Mendes cleverly set up his strike partner James Fernandes inside the penalty box but the latter’s hot-blooded shot was thwarted by Goa Velha keeper Siddesh Morje.
The golden opportunity came in the way of Goa Velha but Criston Fernandes’ header hit the crossbar off a free-kick taken by Joshua Vaz. 
Post resumption, the trend continued and the teams shared points.
