Wesley do Rosario, Tejas Shevde and Tanisi Kirtani bagged a double crown each at the 27th Salgaoncar TT tournament organised by Cortalim Gymkhana at Shri Mangesh Maharudra hall, Cortalim on Sunday.
Results of finals:
Junior boys: Tejas Shevde bt Arjun Sood 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-6. Sub-junior boys: Tejas Sherde bt Krishal Peres 11-7, 11-5, 11-9.
Cadet boys: Wesley do Rosario bt Mangesh Sakordekar 11-7, 11-9, 11-9. Mini Cadet boys: Wesley do Rosario bt Nikhil Raikar 11-3, 11-5, 11-4.
Junior girls: Devika Sood bt Eleanor do Rosario 10-12, 11-8, 9-11, 11-9, 12-10. Sub-junior girls: Roshni Gopani bt Kefira Rodrigues 8-11, 11-9, 11-9, 3-11, 11-9. Cadet girls: Tanisi Kirtani bt Arantxa Noronha 11-7, 11-8, 11-5. Mini Cadet girls: Tanisi Kirtani bt Abigail Cunha 11-5, 11-5, 11-8.
Anthony Miranda, Cortalim – Quelossim sarpanch was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. general secretary, Goa TT, Ashok Mhahambre was also present. Satish Keni, general secretary, Cortalim Gymkhana welcomed. Sham Keni proposed the vote of thanks.

Meanwhile, Manisha Manerikar was awarded the SSC topper scholarship for standing first among three schools of Cortalim. The scholarship was sponsored by Cortalim Gymkhana president, Peter Barretto.
