GUIRDOLIM: Wildred Leisure SC downed Sao Jose de Areal SC 3-1 Guirdolim Panchayat Cup.

The match started with Areal dictating terms but it was Wildred who drew first blood in the 16th minute when Cazy Bogoto slotted in from a goalmouth mele. Areal had themselves to blame as their strikers missed chances galore. Cazy got his second in the 25th minute when he lobbed the ball over Areal keeper who was caught napping.
Cazy got his hat-trick the very next minute with a goal from 25 yards out. Stalen Oliveira pulled one back for Areal in the 54th minute but it was too little, too late.
Cazy Bogoto was adjudged man-of-the-match for his brilliant performance.
Earlier, Chief Guest Seby D’Souza, ex-player of Guirdolim Club kicked off the tournament in the presence of Club President Patwin Fizardo and other officials.
