RAIA: Xetrapal SC defeated St Anthony SC, Assolda, 5-3 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of the Bishute Temudo, Frankie Pires and Jose Santa Rita Coelho memorial inter-village football tournament played at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Pushparaj opened the account for Xetrapal SC in the 8th minute but the joy was short-lived as Cajitan equalised for St Anthony SC in the 20th minute. At the end of regulation time, both teams settled for 1-1 draw. In the resultant tie-breaker, Xetrapal SC netted through Sahil, Levnoy, Pushparaj and Vipul, while for St Anthony SC, Joaquim and Rizbon were on target.
