MARGAO: Youth of Manora continued their winning streak by demolishing Shiroda YC 10-0 in the GFA 3rd Division League at Raia ground, on Wednesday.
At first half, the score was 7-0 in favour of Youth of Manora.
They netted through Roston Costa in the very 2nd minute, Suchbert Pereira scored a hat-trick by scoring in the 8th, 16th and 18th minutes while Douglas D’Souza was on target in the 28th minute. Remy Barbosa in the 34th minute and Douglas again in the 38th minute to complete his brace.
Post resumption, Youth of Manora pumped in three more goals through Remedious Pango in the 56th and 67th minutes and Jose Mathew in the 73rd minute.
In another match played at Quitula ground, Aldona, A. A. de Moira defeated Bastora United Sports and Cultural Club 5-2.
For A. A. de Moira, Siddesh Kesarkar (1), Rudresh Tendulkar (2), Craig Menezes (2) were on target while Jason Monterio and Arun Reddy netted for Bastora United Sports and Cultural Club.
