PANJIM: Young Stars of Moula defeated Rambhuvan Sports Club by 35 runs in the Goa Cricket Association B Division League played at SAG ground, Campal, on Wednesday.
Young Stars of Moula won the toss and elected to bat first wherein they scored a totall of 207/10 in 39.1 overs. Rajest Tukadya (53), Sujay Naik (32) were the highest scorers for the team.
Sazu Naik was instrumental for Rambhuvan Sports Club as he picked four wickets for his team, while Shubham Kundaikar and Rohan Halankar took two wickets each.
In reply, Rambhuvan Sports Club made a promising start with Dipraj Naik (35) and Rohan Halarnkar (37) however Young Stars of Moula with the help of Saif Ali Karajgi –who picked three wickets for the team– curbed down the rivals. Rajesh Tukadiya, Mahendra Naik and Sanjay Naik took two wickets each to halt Rambhuvan Sports Club run at 172 in 37.1 overs.
