In a swift operation, Pernem Police have successfully cracked a sensational kidnapping case involving a 1.5-year-old boy from Korgao. The incident occurred when two men arrived on a motorcycle, one of whom entered the boy’s house and attempted to abduct him from his grandfather’s custody on Friday evening.
As the suspect rushed toward his accomplice, who was waiting on the motorcycle, the grandfather and other family members raised the alarm. Their cries drew the attention of neighbors, who quickly intervened, rescuing the child and detaining the first accused on the spot. The second suspect managed to flee on the motorcycle.
