Although roads in the capital and many towns have developed potholes, the situation is no different in villages. Seen in the picture is a potholed road at the Durbhat village in Ponda. The situation turns dangerous for vehicular traffic proceeding along this location. Two-wheeler riders remain the worst sufferers in the process. The concerned authorities should initiate prompt positive action in repairing the potholed road on priority basis so that safety is assured to precious human lives. Let us hope that needful would be done at the earliest in public interest.
