MARGAO: Dominating in both the sessions, Dempo Sports Club defeated Sesa Football Academy, 4-0, to emerge champion of the GFA U-17 Division 1 football tournament, played at Sirsaim football ground, on Wednesday.
Leading by 2-0 at the breather – Kayden Faleiro gave lead to Dempo’s in the 31st minute. Ashon Vaz inflated the lead in the first minute of the injury time of the first half. Dempo SC dominated the second session and scored two more goals in the 60th & 73rd minute through Krutik Gaekwad and Tanuj Singh.
