Govind wins it for Adarsh

MAPUSA: Govind Mahale scored the only goal of the match for Adarsh Yuvak Sangh as they edged past PVC, Parra 1-0 in the inaugural match of 9th Reira Trophy, all-Goa inter-village football tournament, organized by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao ground, on Saturday.

After a bright start, Govind curled in a delightful free-kick in the 20th minute.
PVC tried hard to bounce back in the second half but the rival defence stood their ground.
Earlier, Bhatia, Director of Reira Group inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Saligao Sarpanch Eknath Oraskar and President of Saligao Sporting, Tony Remedios.
