UGUEM-SANGUEM: Fr Agnel YC, Paroda defeated Curtorim Gymkhana 10-9 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 17th Uguem Rising Club, at Uguem Rising Club ground, on Monday.
Curtorim’s goal scoring machine should have netted in the 34th minute but the latter’s shot hit the Paroda cross bar and went out of play.
Later in the 49th minute, Paroda’s Seawin Fernandes’ arrow bound shot hit the Curtorim post and went out of play.
Both the teams were locked in a goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Fr Agnel YC Paroda proved to be better shooters.
