He said that he has no words to thank the people from all over South Goa for the amount of love he has received over the past few days of his campaigning. He said he has spoken at so many meetings about all the works he plans to do and has even spoken about it in Quepem, he said he is not going to fool the people by promising them the skies, but will fulfill every point in his manifesto, including the grants and provisions from the central govt to help the mining affected people. Referring to the statement made yesterday at Calangute, by Goenchea Ramponkarancho Ekvott (GRE) President Agnelo Rodrigues that ‘Priests are Liars’, Vijai said that before the meeting an election commission official warned him that he should not criticize any individual in his speech. He exposed the duplicity of the authorities that while such warning were issued to speakers at congress meetings, no action has been taken till now against the GRE President because he spoke at a BJP campaign meeting.
Vijai said that Manohar Parrikar is a master at telling lies. In 2004 as part of his mission Salcette he had promised the Salcette voters that he would legalize ‘dhirio’. Ten years later just yesterday, Parrikar has aging told the Salcette voters that “He would strive to find ways to legalize dhirio” thus repeating the same lies of 2004. People should take the Lok Sabha elections as an opportunity now teach this pathological liar a lesson for his misrule f the last two years and the false promises that he has been giving throughout his political carrier. Vijai also highlighted the importance of the silent votes.
