CANACONA: A truck transporting eggs from Karnataka, while on its way to Goa veered off the road at Bhatabandh near Poinguinim on Sunday. The truck after going off the road turned turtle, fortunately the driver escaped unhurt in the mishap.
The truck driver Mohammed Arif while negotiating the turn on the narrow NH66 road at Bhataband lost control over his vehicle eventually landed in the coconut plantation on the road side.
The vehicle dashed against an electricity pole and later turned turtle, luckily the driver escaped unhurt as the eggs were destroyed in the mishap and the vehicle too was damaged.
