Chodankar said after the Congress exposed sex scandal and forced Naik to resign as a minister, the Congress leaders were now receiving complaints from many people from the Mormugaoconstituency and police force is being used to intimidate and harass the very persons, who had led to the exposure of this scandal.
“We have seen that Mormugao PI Paresh Naik along with one PSI Rushal alias Narayan Pinge who was recently accused of rape, fraud, cheating and threatening to kill has been involved in the investigation of this sensitive yet sensational sex scandal case,” he said.
According to Chodankar, PSI Pinge was recently transferred to the Reserve Police, South Goa after the Congress had launched an aggressive campaign against him when a woman from Sancoale filed a complaint at the Verna Police Station in June this year under various sections of the IPC.
