CANSAULIM: SCC Loutolim defeated Navelim Villagers Union 5-4 via tie-breaker in the CAC Three Kings Cup, at Cansaulim Sports Complex, on Tuesday.
Loutolim goalkeeper Flager Moraes made a brilliant save from a thundering shot from Clinton Niasso in the first.
Crossing ends, SCC Loutolim made some changes and enjoyed better ball possession and nearly scored the match-winner but Mark Fernandes’ shot was denied by the goal post. There was no score during the regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Sandip Konde, Flager Moraes, Zico Rodrigues, Shelford Fernandes and Doyal Alves scored for SCC Lotoulim while Clinton Niasso, Mobim Gomes, Suraj Naik, and Micky Colaco scored for Navelim Villagers Union.
