A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight made a safe emergency landing Manohar at International Airport, Mopa, on Tues day morning after one of its engines developed a technical snag shortly af ter takeoff. All 229 passen gers and crew members on board were safely evacu ated, and no injuries were reported. IndiGo flight 6E 2102 departed from North Goa at 9.16 am for Delhi. About 30 minutes into the flight, the aircraft developed an engine-related technical problem, prompting the pilots to turn back to Mopa, according to sources. Following standard op erating procedures, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) declared a full emergen cy at 9.30 am.
The aircraft landed safely on runway 28 at 9.51 am and taxied to the stand, where all passengers and crew dis embarked. The emergency was called off at 10.03 am. An airport official con firmed that 229 passengers were on board and said the aircraft had returned after one of its engines devel oped a snag. Confirming the incident, an IndiGo spokesperson said, “A technical issue was detected shortly after take off on IndiGo flight 6E 2102 operating from North Goa to Delhi.” “Following the standard operating procedure, the relevant authorities were informed, and the pilots turned back and landed the aircraft safely at Manohar International Airport,” the airline said. The aircraft was subse quently taken for main tenance checks and will resume operations after obtaining the necessary clearances, IndiGo said.

The airline also made alternative arrangements for the affected passengers, who were flown to Delhi on another flight in the afternoon.
