The Golden Eagles beat Kevnem SC at Duler Stadium, at Mapusa while the Greens got the better of Churchill Brothers FC at TB Cunha Sports Complex, Cansaulim.
The mighty Dempo outfit dominated the entire proceeding but could only convert from one occasion.
In the 25th minute of play Aaron Alvares beautifully curled in the ball towards unmarked Sereno Fernandes who made no mistake to tap the ball home, 1-0.
Changing ends Dempo were once again all over the Kevnem citadel, however they failed to convert from the chances that came their way.
At Cansaulim ground, Salgaocar FC proved to be superior against Churchill Brothers. It was a well balanced match where both teams showed each other what they are made of.

Salgaocar FC missed many chances in the first half to increase the score as they led 1-0 at the break.
The team talk at half time for the Green Brigades planned out well in the second half.
Levy Teles Pereira intercepted a pass and drilled one past Clarence the Churchill Bros goalkeeper. The goal came in the 46th minute. Clarence was kept busy the entire match, who did well to keep the Salgaocar colts shots from getting passed him.

Churchill Bros managed to reduce the margin in added time but happened to be last kick of the game.
