CANACONA: Canacona police conducted an awareness rally-cum-drive recently to educate locals on dos and don’ts during the lockdown period.

This drive was carried out in the company of higher officials of South Goa Police, as part of the social responsibility besides policing.
The awareness rally was conducted en route Agonda, Palolem, Chaudi and Loliem. While giving details of the mass awareness, Tukaram Chavan, PI of Canacona Police Station, said that the area domination was held in the jurisdiction of Canacona Police Station in the presence of SP South Goa Arvind Gawas IPS, SDPO Quepem Kiran Poduval, SDPO Margao Serafin Dias, DySP Konkan Railway Sammy Tavares, PI of Konkan Railway PS Sharief Jaques, Quepem PS Santosh Dessai, Curchorem PS Ravindra Dessai and other staff of Canacona Police Station.
“The awareness was also held at important junctions at Agonda near St Anne’s Church, Palolem, Chaudi and Loliem,” Chavan informed.
