Teenager held for rape

CUNCOLIM: A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a minor girl from Salcete. In their police complaint, the girl’s parents stated that she was missing from home since May 12. They further stated that the accused took their 15-year-old daughter and stayed in a hotel where he allegedly raped her. The police have arrested the boy and he has been sent to the Apna Ghar. Police have registered offence under the IPC and the Children’s Act and are further investigating the case.
