MARGAO: The Maina-Curtorim Police registered a case against Davorlim resident Vinayak Volvoikar for illegally entering the Rumdamol Panchayat office and dumping garbage in Sarpanch’s cabin, causing public nuisance and potential disease spread.
Police said that Volvoikar has been booked under BNS, Goa Non-Biodegradable (Control) Act 1996 and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

Police said that on Wednesday, Mubina from Davorlim lodged a complaint that on July 30 at around 4.30 pm, the accused Vinayak Volvoikar, with wrongful intention, entered the Rumdamol VP office, and further dumped garbage inside the Sarpanch’s cabin.
