BJP sets out to strengthen base

PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said it has entrusted 375 of its workers with the task of strengthening the party base across 1642 booths in the State.

PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said it has entrusted 375 of its workers with the task of strengthening the party base across 1642 booths in the State. 
“We are on the job spreading awareness about the work carried out by the party in the State and establishing mass contact. The 375 karyakartas (workers) have been imparted training for this purpose. Our ministers, MLAs and other leaders would also be working towards expanding and strengthening the party’s base in the State,” BJP General Secretary Sadanand Shet Tanawde said on Saturday. 
BJP has decided that its ‘vistaraks’ will enter its alliance partners’ booths creating awareness about the work done by the government for the general public. The entire exercise is a part of the centenary celebration of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
