PANJIM: TMC coordinator Trajano D’Mello has reiterated that the State Investigation Team (SIT) should function under the chairmanship of a judge and the Registrar must be empowered through a legislation to declare the fraudulent sale deeds as null and void. He also condemned the BJP-led government for failing to release the terms of reference of the SIT.
Lambasting Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his inability to uphold justice, Trajano said, ‘Despite being in control of the entire administration, all the illegalities were happening right under BJP government’s nose”.
